Pastels Dominating Spring Catwalks: Paris Fashion Week

At Paris Fashion Week 2010 pastels and nudes were reigning the runways.

Pastels and Nudes were a rage on the runways, from Armani to Chanel to Burberry, to Giles everyone incorporated pastels in their collection. The soft shades look very feminine, romantic and chic. Nudes have been popular for quite some time now, and this spring they've become a must have for every wardrobe.

For the first time in his career, Karl Lagerfeld stepped out of his favourite black and navy fever and instead embraced soft pastel shades for his Spring 2010 collection. The collection described as ‘neon baroque’ gives the impression of chic, elegance and sophistication.

Elie Saab embraced the nude and pastels in his collection. The nude shade of the dress complements its delicate fabrics and show off the skills of the couturiers.

Armani also displayed the pastel trend in its collection. Its unique bubble wrap dress made quite a wave.

‘Quantum of Solace’ Bond Girl Olga Kurylenko looked absolutely stylish at the Paris Fashion Week 2010 wearing 'the pastel trend'. She wore a cream dress with black T-bar pumps and a black clutch at the Elie Saab Fashion Show. She kept the look minimal and stylish, her natural makeup accentuated her beauty and her hairdo was simple and stylish.
